MESHUGGAH: Mind-Bending Aural Assault Scheduled For July

Fractured Transmitter Records, the label formed by MUSHROOMHEAD vocalist Jason Mann, has confirmed a July 13 U.S. release date for the new EP from Swedish experimental extreme metallers MESHUGGAH. Titled "I", the one-song CD is being described as a 21-minute "mind-bending aural assault … [that] is sure to send shock waves throughout the metal community." Stay tuned for album art, downloads and distribution news in the days to come.

As previously reported, MESHUGGAH's next full-length effort, "Catch 33", is not expected before early next year. The group's last album, "Nothing", came out in 2002.
